Our programs are individually tailored to each patient. Obesity is a complex chronic disease linked with genetic, environmental, behavioral and hormonal causes. We strongly believe that the solution to successful long-term weight reduction needs to include behavioral modification, a realistic exercise regimen, guidance in making healthy food choices and when indicated, the use of pharmacotherapy.
We rely heavily on the concept of non-deprivation when it comes to food. The Mediterranean style of eating with some modification is one of our focused dietary recommendations. It incorporates whole grain carbohydrates, adequate proteins, and healthier unsaturated fats.
Each of the programs at Egea Medical Weight Loss Center include medical monitoring to ensure that you are achieving the correct level of weight loss to meet your goals while maintaining your adequate nutrition and health needs.

Today is June 27, 2008. Since March 17 of this year, I've lost a total of 64 pounds thanks to Dr. Theo's thoughtful guidance and support.
